Ellie's Angels History ...
The History of Ellie's Angels Ellie
and her "Angels" spend most of their day crocheting robes and blankets for
special request from family or friends of people who struggle with many of
life's most difficult issues. Most are terminally ill. Blankets are sent to
people of all ages. Children sit huddled in a circle at a Cancer Center, wrapped
in their own blanket, discussing success and failures. The blankets provide
warmth and security as they go thru this ordeal. Senior Citizens respond
lovingly as they display the bright colors, remembering that this was made just
for them. Families have sent many wonderful letters over the years relating just
how the blankets were cherished by a mother, father or a little one. The "Thank
You" letters and phone calls we receive becomes the very FUEL that sends us into
the future. It is an "Angel's" greatest joy.
We remind this world that God's message of Love and understanding extends to all
of mankind.
The message is always the same, "No person should ever be alone and cold."
